This January Margot Robbie<\/a> and Brad Pitt<\/a> will reunite on the silver screen for the cinematic epic\u00a0Babylon.\u00a0<\/em>After the official trailer<\/a> was released in September, viewers have been treated to a further look at the film with new clips and interviews from the star-studded cast.<\/p>\n

“Babylon is about a group of people who find themselves in early Hollywood at a time of extreme depravity and debauchery and excess,” explains writer and director Damien Chazelle. “It’s the biggest thing I’ve tried to do.”<\/p>\n

Margot Robbie who plays Nellie LaRoy, a budding up-and-coming actress, described the period as “such an insane time… like the wild west.” She is joined by Pitt – her co-star from Once Upon A Time In Hollywood – <\/em>who portrays Jack Conrad, the biggest film actor at the time.<\/p>\n

Across 2 minutes we receive an introduction to fellow cast members and their characters including, Diego Calva, Li Jun Li, Tobey Maguire and the legendary Jean Smart. According to the official synopsis,\u00a0Babylon\u00a0<\/em>is set in the 1920s in Los Angeles and follows the rise and fall of a group of characters during an era of outrageous excess.<\/p>\n

For Australian viewers the film will release into theatres from January 19, 2023. And it may very well be one of Pitt’s last films after he revealed in a recent interview his plans to eventually retire. Speaking to\u00a0GQ\u00a0<\/em>in June he said<\/a>, \u201cI consider myself on my last leg, this last semester or trimester. What is this section gonna be? And how do I wanna design that?\u201d<\/p>\n
