After emerging from months in lockdown, Italy erupted into a once-familiar setting albeit with strict social distancing in place. For Silvia Venturini Fendi, the new season was a reflection of time spent at home.<\/p>\n<p>It was \u201cFendi workmanship applied under surreal circumstances,\u201d the designer said during the September show.<\/p>\n<p>Emblazoned on sheer silhouettes, prints are inspired by photographs captured from the designer&#8217;s bedroom window. On the eve of Silvia&#8217;s move to Fendi Menswear &#8211; <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/kim-jones-fendi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Kim Jones<\/a> will take the helm of Fendi Womenswear in a debut presentation on January 27 &#8211; the collection campaign has been revealed.<\/p>\n<div style=\"width: 1920px;\" class=\"wp-video\"><video class=\"wp-video-shortcode\" id=\"video-2906-1\" width=\"1920\" height=\"1080\" preload=\"metadata\" controls=\"controls\"><source type=\"video\/mp4\" src=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/FENDI-SS21-Adv-Campaign_Womenswear_30s_landscape.mp4?_=1\" \/><\/video><\/div>\n<p>Captured by photographer Nick Knight, the video and accompanying images pay homage to home, time and tradition. The scene is framed by a small room, billowing white curtains and domestic elements such as a wooden bed and chairs. A digital \u2018window\u2019 projected across the wall reveals a glimpse of the outside world, where a blue cloudy sky meets the Maison\u2019s signature headquarter in Rome, Palazzo della Civilt\u00e0 Italiana.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_183880\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-183880\" style=\"width: 2549px\" class=\"wp-caption alignfull -width\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-183880 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/01\/FENDI-SS21-Adv-Campaign_01-crop-e1610405493253.jpg\" alt=\"Fendi\" width=\"2549\" height=\"3340\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-183880\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Courtesy of Fendi<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Worn by the likes of Mariacarla Boscono, Jill Kortleve, Estelle Chen, Henry Kitcher and Chun Soot, Knight uses light and shadow to highlight the workmanship and intricate detail of each garment.
