It looks like Kanye West\u2019s influence on the fashion industry has finally come to an end. On Tuesday, following public outcry, Adidas announced that they had ended their longstanding partnership with the rapper \u2013 now formally known as Ye \u2013 after his continued antisemitic comments in recent weeks on both social media and in interviews.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cAdidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech,\u201d the company said in a statement. <\/span>According to the <\/span>New York Times<\/span><\/i><\/a>, Adidas will end production on all Yeezy products, as well as stop payment to Ye\u2019s company.<\/span><\/p>\n

This move came after prominent Hollywood talent agency CAA dropped Ye as a client and MRC said that a completed documentary about him will also be shelved.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Last week, Balenciaga confirmed it would no longer be working with Ye, despite its creative director, Demna, being one of Ye\u2019s closest friends and collaborators until now. The rapper even opened Balenciaga\u2019s most recent runway show one month ago in Paris with the footage and imagery since being cut from the brand\u2019s promotional material.<\/span><\/p>\n

On Monday, Ye\u2019s ex-wife Kim Kardashian also made her disapproval of his comments known when she <\/span>tweeted<\/span><\/a>, \u201cHate speech is never OK or excusable.
