This season the Italian fashion house had debuted Eternal Gold,\u00a0<\/em>a sustainable collection using 100 percent certified recycled gold. A first for the brand and according to Prada, a first for luxury fashion houses around the globe.<\/p>\n

Alongside time-honoured artisanal techniques is modern technology. 100 percent of the gold used in Prada fine jewellery meets \u2018Chain of Custody\u2019 standards set by the Responsible Jewellery Council and is completely verifiable and traceable. Not only is it more sustainable, its better for humanity too. Prada has partnered with suppliers that meet the highest industry standards concerning human rights, labor safety, environmental impact, and business ethics. For customers, each piece has been logged on the Aura Consortium Blockchain \u0301s platform and can be accessed for verification.<\/p>\n

When it comes to design, Eternal Gold<\/em> reimagines timeless silhouettes with Prada’s heritage style cues. Think snake bracelets, heart motifs, chain necklaces and ribbon chokers. Signature Prada branding, the iconic triangle motif, is traced in every piece. The triangle appears as a clasp closure, earrings and pendants, while its angles shape chain links and hearts. Proportions are more exaggerated too.<\/p>\n

To accompany the new launch award-winning American poet and activist Amanda Gorman<\/a>, American actor, model, and singer-songwriter Maya Hawke<\/a> and Dutch-Korean-Canadian musician Somi Jeon form the campaign cast. Shot by the renowned David Sims with creative direction by Ferdinando Verderi, classic portraits are juxtaposed with reflections rendered in gold.<\/p>\n
