This came as no surprise, as he came from a long line of shoemakers and designers. And yet, the vision he had was much larger than any before him. Rubin decided to create a shoe empire that was more accessible to the masses, yet not sacrificing luxury quality for affordability, and with a quintessential British DNA that would three decades.
