Tilda Swinton<\/a> is rarely absent from a film festival and on day eight of the Venice Film Festival<\/a> she finally appeared on the red carpet for the premiere of her new film,\u00a0The Eternal Daughter.\u00a0<\/em>The actress stepped in front of masses of press and fans on Tuesday evening with canary yellow strands, which she says was in solidarity with Ukraine.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s my honour to wear half of the Ukrainian flag,\u201d she said in a press conference. Her highlighter yellow transformation was styled with a long sleeve lilac sequin gown courtesy of Haider Ackermann. The same designer that dressed Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet in a red halter neck<\/a> just days earlier.<\/p>\n

Hours before her highly-anticipated appearance, Swinton attended the photo call and press conference for the upcoming mystery drama film. This time she was dressed in Loewe which featured an oversized blue stripe shirt, red straight leg pants and patent pumps. Swinton’s hair was smoothed to the side and her look was finished with a chunky beaded necklace.<\/p>\n

Perhaps the most memorable look from her short stint in Venice was on September 5. Completely unfazed by the press, the 61-year-old walked the streets of the city, enjoying a gelato (vanilla it would seem) in head-to-toe Chanel. Can this woman do no wrong?<\/p>\n

The Eternal Daughter\u00a0<\/em>is directed and produced by Joanna Hogg and follows a middle-aged daughter and her elderly mother who must confront newly-uncovered secrets when they return to their old family home. Following the premiere, The Guardian<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>awarded the drama four out of five stars.<\/p>\n
