We’re still wrapping our heads around the 2022 MTV VMAs<\/a>. Fergie’s on-stage renaissance<\/a>. The moment Lizzo referenced 2015 Nicki Minaj in her acceptance speech – what’s good? And ah, a cameo we all seemingly missed from a virtual Johnny Depp. There was a lot to unpack from the annual awards ceremony but nothing more exciting than the announcement of Taylor Swift’s new album\u00a0Midnight.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

To celebrate the news which will see brand new music release on October 21, Swift paid homage to the album theme in her afterparty look for the evening. After she wore a glittering Oscar de la Renta ensemble on the red carpet<\/a> she changed into a silky blue star-studded (literally) romper from Moschino. She finished the look with a faux fur coat and silver platform heels.<\/p>\n

She was later spotted with her rumoured fianc\u00e9 Joe Alwyn<\/a> outside the Republic Records’ MTV VMAs after party at the Fleur Room in New York City. The couple held hands and sprinted to a car before they could be papped by onlookers – as reported by Us Weekly<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

Swift was honoured with three awards at the 2022 VMAs nabbing the silver spaceman for Video of the Year, Best Long Form Video, and Best Direction for her short film “All Too Well”. She was also nominated for Best Cinematography and Best Editing.<\/p>\n
