Jennifer Lopez<\/a> is a woman of many trades and in her late twenties saw the star add ‘actress’ to her growing resum\u00e9. In a new article on the singer’s namesake newsletter\u00a0On The JLo, <\/em>she recalled feeling “invincible” which later caused some pretty serious health consequences including panic attacks.<\/p>\n

“There was a time in my life where I used to sleep 3 to 5 hours a night. I’d be on set all day and in the studio all night and doing junkets and filming videos on the weekends. I was in my late 20s, and I thought I was invincible,” Lopez wrote. “Until one day, I was sitting in a trailer, and all the work and the stress it brought with it, coupled with not enough sleep to recuperate mentally, caught up with me.<\/p>\n

She continued, “I found myself feeling physically paralysed. I couldn’t see clearly and then the physical symptoms I was having started to scare me, and the fear compounded itself. Now I know it was a classic panic attack brought on by exhaustion, but I had never even heard the term at the time.”<\/p>\n

After a trip to the doctor she was told to get between seven and nine hours of sleep a night and ensure she was exercising. It seems the advice was lasting because nowadays Lopez says she’s stronger at 52 than she was at 30 (here is exactly what she does<\/a>). In a past interview she echoed this notion telling\u00a0InStyle US<\/a>, <\/em>\u201cI\u2019ve taken care of myself, and now it shows.”<\/p>\n

The “On The Floor” star recently released her bombshell documentary\u00a0<\/a>Halftime<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>where fans received rare insight into the 52-year-old. Perhaps what was most surprising about Lopez is that she appears to notice what people say about her.<\/p>\n
