It’s the biggest all-star cast of our cinematic dreams and today, finally, it has come to fruition. Overnight 20th Century Studios released the official trailer to historical drama Amsterdam\u00a0<\/em>starring the likes of Margot Robbie<\/a>, Christian Bale and John David Washington.<\/p>\n

It is described as a “fascinating and richly intricate tale that brilliantly weaves historical fact with fiction for a timely, cinematic experience” set in a 1930s wartime. Amsterdam\u00a0<\/em>is written and directed by the legendary David O. Russell – of Silver Linings Playbook<\/em> and American Hustle <\/em>– who follows three friends and accomplices that find themselves in the city of Amsterdam and at the centre of one of the most shocking secret plots in American history.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe formed a pact and we swore to protect each other\u2026 no matter what,\u201d Bale\u2019s character says in the long-awaited trailer.<\/p>\n
