Simon Porte Jacquemus knows how to create the ultimate summer dreamscape, whether situation in a hazy Proven\u00e7al lavender field or on a storm-soaked Hawaiian shoreline.<\/p>\n

The designers latest show, Le Papier<\/em>, stripped back some of the fun and poppy colour, but still prompted us to plot a vacation, namely in the salt-rock mountains of Arles in Southern France.<\/p>\n

Characterised by creamy whites and buttery neutrals, the collection was fresh, pure and pared back. Set against the salty, space-like natural setting it was every part the social moment the brand has come to be known for.<\/p>\n

Alongside the clothes (!) was incredible beauty. Led creatively by makeup artist Lauren Parsons<\/a> and hair stylist Cyndia Harvey<\/a>, the look wonderfully juxtaposed glossy skin with chalky swipes of colour on the lids \u2014 almost as if fingers had been swiped across the Earth, and then onto the eyes.<\/p>\n
