It has been just over one year since Emma Roberts<\/a> welcomed her first child Rhodes<\/a> and the actress is ready to get back on set. This week Deadline<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>announced that one of her first roles since returning to silver screen will be in the Sony-Marvel film\u00a0Madame Web\u00a0<\/em>which is currently in pre-production.\u00a0The actress joins Dakota Johnson and Sydney Sweeney<\/a> in the comic book film although little is known about their roles.<\/p>\n

For the unacquainted, the character Madame Web (who will be portrayed by Johnson) is depicted as an elderly woman within the comic book series who possesses psychic abilities and feeds off spiderweb that acts as her life support. Due to her age she never fought in battle, although sources for the aforementioned publication are hinting the film could take an unexpected turn.<\/p>\n
