Check-in is\u00a0professional, personable and swift with the team behind screens to ensure\u00a0\u00a0safety.<\/p>\n

PEACOCK ALLEY <\/span><\/p>\n

While you might be tempted to immediately veer into Peacock Alley, a\u00a0hidden gem of a lobby lounge cordoned off from prying eyes with spectacular\u00a0views, intimate seating and divine coffee and cakes, its worth heading yet further\u00a0up into your room which could be housed as high as the 55th floor.\u00a0Break the seal that assures you the room has been sanitized and you\u2019ll\u00a0immediately be greeted by floor to ceiling windows showing off breathtaking\u00a0vistas of the city.<\/p>\n

The rooms having undeniably\u00a0Mad Men<\/em>\u00a0retro touches like\u00a0leather drinks cabinets, antique car curios and radios, but tick off all mod cons\u00a0and luxuries too. Bathrooms are spectacular and spacious with separate his and\u00a0hers sinks, sunken baths, power showers, soft robes and slippers \u2013 including\u00a0adorable mini ones for children \u2013 and Salvatore Ferragamo toiletries. Make it down in time\u00a0for breakfast \u2013 although COVID rules mean the buffet has to be served rather than\u00a0help-yourself, there is a battalion to help you sort out your immediate hunger\u00a0pangs with patisserie, fruit, juices and cereals before your freshly-made mains\u00a0are brought to the table. The beef bacon eggs benedict hit the spot.<\/p>\n

The pool area can get packed during the day time but at night the mood\u00a0completely changes as it morphs into chic lounge St Trop. The lighting dips, neon\u00a0lights accentuate pop art pieces, guests slink into comfy seats and a selection of\u00a0light bites and drinks come into play; the mushroom truffle arancini and crisp\u00a0calamari cannot be missed.<\/p>\n
