In case you missed it, Elon Musk<\/a> – one of the most divisive people on the internet right now – is reportedly dating Australian actress and “ELVIS” star Natasha Bassett. The news was first rumoured back in February by the Daily Mail<\/a>\u00a0<\/em>when they were photographed disembarking the billionaire’s plane. If there was any doubt that it was just a quick fling, new images nearly four months later have shown the couple vacationing in St. Tropez.<\/p>\n

In images obtained by\u00a0<\/a>Page Six<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>the Tesla founder and Australian export were seen having lunch at the Cheval Blanc hotel on Memorial Day weekend. In a series of photographs the pair could be seen enthralled in animated conversation. Bassett wore a strapless green midi dress while Musk opted for his signature uniform of a t-shirt and jeans.<\/p>\n

Some of the most iconic relationships of recent years have been born from a romantic getaway. Take for example, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez<\/a> who took their rekindled relationship Instagram official on a boat in St. Tropez in 2021. Or, Harry Styles and Olivia Wilde<\/a> who were spotted making out, also on a boat, in Venice last year.<\/p>\n

While a previous report from\u00a0Hollywood Life\u00a0<\/em>suggested that Musk and Bassett were “exclusive”, the 50-year-old’s former (?) girlfriend Grimes (and mother to his two children<\/a>) has recently revealed their relationship is “fluid”.<\/p>\n

\u201cI would probably refer to him as my boyfriend, but we\u2019re very fluid. We live in separate houses,\u201d the singer told Vanity Fair <\/em><\/a>in March. \u201cWe\u2019re best friends. We see each other all the time\u2026. We just have our own thing going on, and I don\u2019t expect other people to understand it.\u201d Grimes added that they \u201calways wanted at least three or four [children].\u201d<\/p>\n

Bassett hails from Sydney, Australia, but moved to New York in 2019 to attend school for her acting career. She has since starred in local projects such as\u00a0Wild Boys\u00a0<\/em>and\u00a0Mental,\u00a0<\/em>and will make an appearance in her first big film from Baz Luhrmann, the aforementioned\u00a0ELVIS.<\/em><\/p>\n
