Over the weekend, Gigi Hadid celebrated her 27th birthday in New York City, taking over downtown restaurant Zero Bond for a dinner with friends and family. On the guestlist were many who also happen to be fellow stylish supermodels, which meant that ahead of the dinner the streets outside the venue were similar to that of the street style you\u2019d see at New York Fashion Week. There was, of course, Bella Hadid. Also, Blake Lively! One Emily Ratajkowski! A Martha Hunt! And an OG super, Helena Christensen!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

First for the birthday girl. To welcome in her 27th year around the sun, Hadid wore an angelic white lace look from none other than Australian designer Dion Lee. The outfit was made up of a corset top, a duster coat and matching trousers. She wore layered Jacquie Aiche pearls around her neck, and finished off the monochromatic look with a pair of simple white pumps. The resulting look was stunningly eye-catching:<\/span><\/p>\n

For her beauty look, Hadid pulled her hair back into a tight ponytail and wore a statement black cat eye with nude lips and bronzed cheeks. She held a sparkly clutch bag in her hand \u2013 it\u2019s a legal requirement that birthday girls must always have sparkles somewhere on their outfit!\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Her younger sister Bella, meanwhile, who attended the event with her boyfriend Marc Kalman, lent into her Y2K-loving, sexy style with a pinstripe vest and miniskirt. She pulled her hair back with one of those plastic zig-zag headbands we all wore as teens and wore a pair of black pointed boots and a tiny shoulder bag.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Then there was Lively, officially an actress but with those pins a supermodel in another life, who wore a fuchsia Sergio Hudson bodycon minidress, a bright red clutch and orange pumps.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Ratajkowski, who arrived with an equally stylish Ziwe in black high-waist trousers and a statement floral bralette, wore her favourite trend – cut-outs – pairing a maxi-dress in shades of bright red and blue with strappy sandals and a silver chainmail bag.<\/span><\/p>\n
