(Photo by ROBYN BECK\/AFP via Getty Images)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>After a three-year hiatus from a host at the Academy Awards, it was welcomed news last month when show producer Will Packer announced that Amy Schumer, Wanda Sykes and Regina Hall would join forces at the <a href=\"https:\/\/graziamagazine.com\/articles\/how-to-watch-2022-oscars\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">2022 Oscars<\/a>. The trio of actresses &#8211; all known for their comedic spirit &#8211; were chaotically introduced to the stage by DJ Khaled with an equally as hilarious opening monologue to follow. For a full explanation on the laws, here is <a href=\"https:\/\/theeverygirl.com\/dont-say-gay-bill\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a helpful resource.<\/a> For viewers of the Oscars in the Southern state, this year&#8217;s hosts were sure to say &#8220;gay&#8221; over and over. &#8220;We&#8217;re going to have a great night tonight. And for you people in Florida, we&#8217;re going to have a gay night!&#8221; In unison they exclaimed, &#8220;Gay!&#8221; &#8220;Gay!&#8221; &#8220;Gay!&#8221;, to a roaring applause.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"article-subheadline-style\">On The Nominations Snubs&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Sykes was sure to call out a few surprising snubs from the nominations list. But more so on his climate change activism. &#8220;Leonardo Dicaprio, what can I even say about him? He&#8217;s done so much to fight climate change and leave behind a cleaner, greener planet for his girlfriends&#8230; because they&#8217;re much younger.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"article-subheadline-style\">On The Golden Globes&#8230;<\/span><\/p>\n<p>This awards season the Golden Globes was notably absent. Within the opening monologue Schumer asked, &#8220;Do you know who is in the &#8216;In Memorium&#8217; package this year?
