While the overarching NYFW beauty theme this season has been bold glamour, Prabal Gurung instead showed us the quiet power of neutrals during his runway show in New York City yesterday.<\/p>\n

With makeup by Sil Bruinsma for MAC Cosmetics, the look involved dimensional shades of taupe, beige, chocolate and terracotta swept across eyes, cheeks and lips.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis season Prabal Gurung went with a collection that is very colourful with lots of different shades. The makeup we are using is more monochromatic. We are going for a very diverse cast with many different ethnicities so I designed a makeup look that is very tonal and monochromatic and a luxe nude,” Sil Bruinsma said in a press release.\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n
