When news broke yesterday that Rihanna is pregnant with her first child to A$AP Rocky<\/a> (sobbing, crying, throwing up), the internet turned hot pink before busting into flames.<\/span> Images of the singer standing in the streets of New York City wearing a hot pink vintage Chanel jacket with her baby bump on show became instantly iconic and were reposted in every corner of social media by excited fans.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Some, however, had reservations. This is the woman who\u2019s become synonymous with being single on purpose: dumping billionaires because she \u201cgets bored of men\u201d and leaving players, such as Drake, to write song after song about their lost love after they ruined their chances the first time. <\/span><\/p>\n

Everything about Rihanna\u2019s DGAF aura, from how she casually launched a lingerie label that took down Victoria\u2019s Secret (then posed with caviar in bed to announce her billionaire status) to her unique sense of style to how she\u2019s ignoring the many pleas for new music because she does things on her own time, makes her so beloved. So, the question remains: is any man good enough for her? Probably not. But is this man up to the task of treating her right? Maybe. Hopefully.<\/span><\/p>\n

If anyone was going to be (nearly) good enough for Rihanna, it\u2019s A$AP Rocky. A reformed playboy who was in awe of the singer (rightly so) for years before the two turned their friendship romantic and someone who’s expressed many times in interviews a thoughtfulness about the world that could only come from years of therapy. (Plus, he’s stylish, talented and very, very<\/em> hot).<\/span><\/p>\n

In fact, in a new report <\/span>People<\/span><\/i><\/a> confirms the rapper \u201cwaited\u201d for Rihanna and was \u201ceager to start a relationship\u201d with her for a long time. <\/span>\u201cA lot of guys have tried to sweep her off her feet, but Rocky actually managed to do it,” the publication\u2019s source says. “From the very beginning, he’s doted on her,” they continued. “He’s over-the-top romantic and sends her roomfuls of flowers all the time.”<\/span><\/p>\n

“They always have fun together,” a different souce adds. “They joke and act goofy. They enjoy life and like to travel. They love being together and are the loves of each other’s lives.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Of course, similar sentiments have come direct from Rocky, who told <\/span>GQ<\/span><\/i><\/a> in May 2021 that Rihanna is\u00a0<\/span>“love of my life” and \u201cThe One.\u201d\u00a0<\/span>Describing what it’s like to be in a relationship, Rocky said, “So much better. So much better when you got ‘the One.’ She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones.”<\/span><\/p>\n

At the time, he also spoke about starting a family, saying it\u2019s “in my destiny, absolutely\u201d and that he \u201cwould have a very fly child.
