Overnight it was announced that Rihanna<\/a> and A$AP Rocky (whose real name is Rakim Athelaston Mayers) were expecting their first child<\/a>. In images released to the world wide web, the couple were strolling through Mayers’ hometown of Harlem, in the most chic way possible. The pop star’s father, Ronald Fenty has since reacted to the happy news.<\/p>\n

Speaking to\u00a0Page Six<\/a>,\u00a0<\/em>the Barbados native said, \u201cI\u2019m ecstatic. I\u2019m so happy that I jumped for joy. I\u2019m still so excited.” He continued, \u201cRihanna always said that she wanted children, she loves kids. She always takes care of her cousins\u2019 kids\u2026she\u2019s going to be a good mom.\u201d<\/p>\n
