Mila Kunis<\/a> is officially set to star<\/a> in one of Netflix<\/a>‘s most anticipated new films, Luckiest Girl Alive<\/em>. The thriller, which Kunis will also produce, is based on the New York Times<\/em> best-selling novel of the same name from author Jessica Knoll, and sees the actor step into the role of an established glossy magazine editor, who is preparing for her upcoming wedding.\u00a0The storyline centres on Kunis’ character Ani FaNelli, who begins to recall disturbing details about her teenage past as she is interviewed for a true crime documentary.<\/p>\n

Australian producer Bruna Papandrea, who previously co-founded a female-led production company with Reese Witherspoon<\/a>, is also on board after recent successes with the likes of Big Little Lies<\/em><\/a> and the upcoming Nine Perfect Strangers\u00a0<\/em>adaptation. Mike Barker, director and executive producer of The Handmaid’s Tale<\/em>, rounds out the ideal team for what is surely going to be a twisted plot.<\/p>\n

Kunis has been keeping a relatively low profile recently, isolating at home with husband Ashton Kutcher<\/a> and their two children, daughter Wyatt Isabelle, six, and son Dimitri Portwood, four. The 37-year-old has been steadily working through the pandemic where safe to do so, with a recent role in Breaking News in Yuba County\u00a0<\/em>with Alison Janney and Regina Hall, as well as a hilarious Super Bowl commercial with Kutcher.<\/p>\n

In the advertisement, the couple are seen playfully arguing over a bag of Cheetos, which sees Kunis caught orange-handed, as it were, while trying to sneak a few of the crisps behind Kutcher’s back \u2013 who then naturally launches into a rendition of Shaggy’s It Wasn’t Me<\/em>. We love to see it!<\/p>\n
