In news that will surprise absolutely no one, a paternity test has revealed Tristan Thompson is in fact the father of Maralee Nichols’ baby boy.<\/p>\n

Thompson just shared the revelation on his Instagram account, posting a story acknowledging the fact he is in fact the biological father, as well as an apology to all those affected by the scandal.<\/p>\n

\u201cToday, paternity test results reveal that I fathered a child with Maralee Nichols,\u201d the NBA player wrote. \u201cI take full responsibility for my actions. Now that paternity has been established I look forward to amicably raising our son.\u201d<\/p>\n

He continued, \u201cI sincerely apologize to everyone I\u2019ve hurt or disappointed throughout this ordeal both privately and publicly.\u201d<\/p>\n

Thompson then addressed his relationship with reality star Khloe Kardashian, with whom he shares a daughter:<\/p>\n

\u201cKhlo\u00e9, you don\u2019t deserve this. You don\u2019t deserve the heartache and humiliation I have caused you,\u201d he added. \u201cYou don\u2019t deserve the way I have treated you over the years.\u201d<\/p>\n
