The festive season was alive and well on Instagram at the weekend when millions celebrated the spooky, candy-fuelled holiday of Halloween<\/a>. In the age of social media, we can’t help but live vicariously through extravagant celebrity costumes<\/a>, especially when our own normally comprises of a mini dress and devil horns.<\/p>\n

Unlike Cady Herron’s famous Mean Girls\u00a0<\/em>quote (the one about all the girls just wearing lingerie and animal ears) celebrities actually go all out in a bid to garner the headlines. It often results in customs pieces from respected designers, hours of hair and intricate makeup. Like Kourtney Kardashian and Travis Barker<\/a> who recreated the True Romance <\/em>movie poster, it could also mean a full-blown photo shoot.<\/p>\n
