The Italian luxe fashion label is taking you through the exquisite history of Italian artistic crafts and cultural heritage with their new project.<\/p>\n

In particular, Italian art dates back to as far as 8000 BC<\/a> and became the epicenter of art history during the Renaissance. To celebrate how far the country has come and what they’ve achieved, the must-see project will be located at the Italian Pavillion<\/a> of Expo 2020<\/a> for visitors to hit rewind and experience the magnificent works of Italian craft.<\/p>\n

Keeping in mind the Pavillion’s<\/a> theme of Beauty Connects People, Dolce&Gabbana <\/i>showcases the intricate architectural art display of 18th century Southern Italy as a homage to Italian craftsmanship. In specific, the 1200 majolica tiles, which hold huge significance as part of Italy’s art landscape, are incorporated in the project featuring<\/a> floral interweaving, bougainvillea fronds, citrus fruits, and bucolic landscapes:<\/p>\n

“The space welcomes visitors by giving them a regenerating break, immersed in the values of artisanship and enveloped by the scents of the typical essences of the Mediterranean vegetation. As always in Italy, the beauty of nature interchanges and merges with the beauty born from the genius and the hands of man, in a virtuous exchange that generates new beauty. The installation aims to be a symbol and testimony of the skills of Italian art masters in all their fields of action.”<\/p>\n
