2021 will forever be known for many things, but in the beauty industry? It will go down as the year that literally<\/em> every celebrity announced or launched their own skincare or cosmetics brand. From Ariana Grande’s R.E.M Beauty<\/a> makeup to Ellen Degeneres<\/a>‘ Kind Science skincare, it seems every star has been inspired by the success of Rihanna’s Fenty Beauty<\/a> and Kylie Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics<\/a> and now wants a piece of the lucrative beauty pie.<\/p>\n

So should we really be surprised that Meghan Markle<\/a> is now heavily rumoured to be launching a beauty brand of her own? After all, the Duchess of Sussex has seemingly been steadily parlaying her Royal image in the lifestyle arena, so a move into makeup or skincare perhaps shouldn’t be shocking \u2013 especially when recalling Markle’s now-defunct blog, The Tig, which regularly showcased her favourite beauty and wellness products.<\/p>\n

Over the course of this year, Markle has been spotted attending numerous meetings with Guthy-Renker, a major player in the cosmetics industry that has been the backing behind a number of celebrity beauty brands, including Jennifer Lopez’s JLo Beauty<\/a> and a skincare range from Cindy Crawford<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Markle and husband Prince Harry<\/a> have been seen making several visits to the ranch of the beauty conglomerate’s co-founder, Billy Guthy. The pair were said to have filmed their polarising Oprah interview at Guthy’s property, and even travelled on the company’s jet for their recent trip to New York.<\/p>\n

But perhaps most tellingly of all, the Sussex Royal camp haven’t denied the rampant rumours. Our guess?
