Accessories<\/a> make any outfit, and Fashion<\/a> Week is a master class in that lesson.<\/p>\n

This season there were more IRL shows during the current spring\/summer 2022 collections than in the past two seasons put together, and designers couldn’t be happier. There has been a vast majority of creatives showcasing a renewed collection filled the best of the best when it comes to accessories this season.<\/p>\n

With New York, London and Milan fashion week coming to an end, we expect to see nothing less than over the top glamour from Paris Fashion Week. New York and London brought us exquisite tailoring, chic accessories and high-end glamour, and Milan brought us edgy and structured detailing. Of particular note: Versace and Fendi’s\u00a0<\/span>presentation<\/span><\/a>\u00a0in Milan was every bit of fabulous as we expected.<\/span><\/p>\n

While each collection was defined by its own unique principles and design themes, certain accessories pointed to the autumn season’s potential trends. One accessory, in particular, was chunky chain detailing and, during Milan Fashion Week, appeared all over the Fendace runway. Whether accessorising with a chain belt, chain-link bag or a black dress with a chain strap, this rich detailing was everywhere and can easily elevate any look.<\/p>\n

This season, the trend appeared in several shows in a minimalistic approach and extravagant style. When it comes to finding the perfect chain detailing, you can find some tangible unicorns. Thin to thick, lightweight to hefty, and they came as casual or sophisticated as they need to be. While chunky chains dominated the runway, designers have showcased subtle buckles, pendants or single-chain belts, allowing you to approach the trend in a way that fits your personal style.<\/p>\n
