Coach loves a good theme. From their thoughtfully curated collections<\/a> and the intricate ensembles that go along with them, the American designer knows how to create a good storyline. During its spring 2021 Ready-to-Wear collection, the fashion house gave us a peek into the world of \u201880s fashion. Now, for its 2022 spring collection, the designer is paying homage to his roots in New York by highlighting both comfort and pragmatism.<\/p>\n

In the new collection showcased during New York<\/a> Fashion Week, Stuart Vevers brought a younger, less polished<\/a> aesthetic to the runway \u2013 presenting a collection that\u2019s not only wearable but incredibly fun. The models that graced the runway were students, skaters and thrifters, showcasing an array of unique denim shades, graphic tees and checkered print sets (very Gen Z approved.)<\/p>\n

The show, within a show, presented a digital segment showcasing an early \u201890s programming, Bob Ross and vintage game shows \u2013 blending seamlessly into the world of high fashion<\/a> with a collection highlighting everything retro and urban, with New York City as the star of the show. Within the 47 looks, we saw a wide variety of diverse garments coming down the runway. There were several looks featuring grey t-shirts paired with A-line skirts, which spoke heavily to the current oversized obsession we have. Along with several checkered dresses, playful sets and hemmed pants. One example of the sets came in playful neon green, followed by yellow and orange matching sets with a pencil skirt and baseball cap.<\/p>\n

The \u201890s was an underlying current of inspiration for the collection, where hats were the ultimate accessory, ponchos made an appearance and mini dresses took over the runway. If you\u2019re ready to invite new pieces into your spring wardrobe, then this collection is for you.<\/p>\n
