Zoë Kravitz and Robert Pattinson have been cosying up on magazine covers and red carpets all over the world for the past few weeks as the ridiculously good looking pair promote their new film The Batman. But though the co-stars have perfected their on-screen chemistry, work aside, Kravitz is more than smitten with her boyfriend of almost one-year, Channing Tatum.
According to Page Six, who spoke to an exclusive source close to Kravitz, the actress has told close friends she is “looking towards the future” with Tatum.
“Things are going great with Channing and she is incredibly happy,” says their source. “She is in a good place career-wise and he has a good record of being a dad.” On that last point, Kravitz has allegedly even mentioned she “Wouldn’t mind having one kid” with Tatum. Just don’t ask her about it in interviews.
Back in 2020, Kravitz said she finds questions about children offensive while speaking to Dax Shepard on his podcast Armchair Expert. “A lot of people ask the question, ‘When are you gonna have a baby?’ or say things like, ‘When’s the baby?’ and I really get offended by people assuming that’s something that I have to do because society says so.”
“Right now, I’m certainly not in a place where I think I’m able to do that just ’cause of work and also just, man, I don’t know, I like my free time,” she continued. (An iconic sentence if ever I’ve heard one).
Another source told People a similar narrative, saying the couple “seems very happy” and “still have this playful energy that they have had since they first started dating” last year.
“They continue to spend time together on both coasts,” they added. “They were getting a lot of attention when they first stepped out together last summer. They seemed uncomfortable with the attention and have been much more discreet lately.”
The pair, who have both had busy work schedules also ensure they are “both making an effort to see each other often.”
“Channing spends a lot of time in L.A. because of his daughter” with ex Jenna Dewan, 8-year-old Everly, the insider added. “Zoë seems very understanding and has been doing most of the travelling.”
