Everyone’s friendly neighbourhood superhero Spider-Man has returned to the streets. Overnight, Zendaya and Tom Holland took to social media to reveal the official title of Marvel’s next instalment: Spider-Man: No Way Home. Also joined by co-star Jacob Batalon, the trio appear in a short 30-second teaser clip where they are seen walking out of director Jon Watt’s office before walking past a whiteboard, slashed with the new film name.

“He gave us a fake name again … I just don’t understand why he keeps doing this,” Holland says.

“You don’t understand? I feel like it’s pretty obvious. You spoil things,” Batalon replies, a nod to Holland’s accidental title reveal for Spider-Man: Far From Home.

“I don’t spoil things. Name me one thing I’ve actually spoiled,” Holland says.

“The last movie title,” Zendaya retorts.

Followers of the cast would have noticed that each star was teasing potential film titles all week. These included “Phone Home”, “Home Slice” and “Home-Wrecker”. Nothing gets film fanatics going more than a little movie speculation.

Spider-Man: No Way Home will hit cinemas in the U.S. on December 17 2021 and Australia from December 26, 2021. If you ask us, we can’t wait to see Zendaya and Holland on screen together once again. The couple’s chemistry on the Spider-Man set was so palpable that fans continue to speculate the pair are in a relationship. And we can’t blame them.

According to Entertainment Weekly, Tobey Maguire (who played Peter Parker) and Kirsten Dunst (and played Mary-Jane) were believed to have been dating for a short stint during production of the 2002 film Spider-Man. Dunst also dated Jake Gyllenhaal, Spider-Man: Far From Home’s bad guy, in 2002.

We’d be lying if we weren’t looking forward to Zendaya’s virtual press trail looks. In 2019, the 24-year-old stunned fashion lovers on a number occasions when she donned red hair during film promo and again when she appeared on the red carpet of the People’s Choice Awards in a glittering Christopher Esber number.

We love to see it.
