When Kim Kardashian revealed her boyfriend Pete Davidson has not one, not two, but three skin markings for her — and I say ‘skin markings’ because one isn’t a tattoo, it’s actually branded on — it felt like the first time the internet actually believed the unlikely pair were a real — and not Kris Jenner generated — couple.

Since then, Kardashian has stayed tight-lipped about Davidson’s body art, but it’s rumoured he has a further tattoo in tribute to the four children she shares with her ex-husband Kanye West (who no doubt hates that). Now, it appears the comedian has at least one more for his famous girlfriend, making the total five… that we know of.

In the Instagram gallery Kardashian uploaded of her and her beau yesterday, fans spotted new ink on Davidson’s bare chest. If you cast your eyes to his clavicle, partially covered by his gold necklace there’s a tiny new tattoo paying homage to the first time the two kissed, which was on live TV during Kardashian’s hosting gig on SNL.

The design features the names “Jasmine” and “Aladdin” with an infinity sign in the middle, referencing the skit the pair starred in together in which they dressed as the Disney cartoon characters and shared a kiss on Aladdin’s magic carpet.

As for the infinity sign? It appears this love is eternal, baby.

Kardashian has spoken in the past about how significant that first kiss was, saying it was when she realised there was real chemistry between herself and Davidson, later asking a producer for his phone number. For his part, he’d already tried to get Kardashian’s number from their mutual friend Megan Fox, who reportedly told him he was dreaming.

Furthermore, Davidson gifted Kardashian the costumes they wore for the skit for Valentine’s Day this year. “Actually, for Valentine’s Day, he got me the rug and the whole outfits and the little genie lamp,” Kardashian told Jimmy Kimmel in April. “So I do own the rug.”

Ah, young love.
