Over the weekend, W Magazine’s scrapped new issue, which featured Jenner and Scott on the cover alongside a photoshoot with their 3-year-old daughter Stormi, was leaked online, despite the publication trying to desperately any copies that had already gone to print following the Astroworld tragedy which killed 10 people.
In the corresponding article, which was also shared online, the author of the piece claimed Scott and Jenner were “creating their own definition of family,” noting they were not a “traditional couple,” despite the musician and make-up mogul embracing in the shoot and lying in bed together.
“Travis and Kylie seemed very comfortable under the sheets,” the article reads. “But even though they will soon have two children together – their daughter, Stormi, is 3 – they are not a couple, and haven’t been in two years. They’re the modern family!” The front cover lines added, “As they expect their second child together, former couple Kylie Jenner and Travis Scott are creating their own definition of family.”
The piece also mentioned Khloe and Kourtney Kardashian, alluding Jenner was following in the footsteps of her older sisters by having children with men “without necessarily ever marrying them.”
The allegations came as a shock to the public and fans of the Kardashian-Jenner family, many of whom assumed Jenner and Scott were back together—they initially broke up in October 2019—upon her announcement of their impending second child. Plus, Jenner’s social media presence suggested the same thing: she even posted matching diamond rings that Scott bought her and Stormi last month.
Since the piece was leaked, Scott nor Jenner have spoken publicly about the shoot or the claims about the status of their relationship, but overnight Jenner’s older sister, Khloé Kardashian, did the clarifying for them. On a TikTok which shared the W Magazine shoot, Kardashian wrote, “Wow I don’t know why this magazine would write this but they are very much a couple.”
Furthermore, a source told TMZ in response that the pair are still in a romantic relationship and are “100% together”. Okurr.
