There is no shortage of moments when the young princes and princesses have been a spitting image of their parents. At the Queen’s funeral in September, Princess Charlotte was every bit Kate Middleton’s lookalike when the family stepped out in all-black ensembles. They continued their matching streak overnight when they were photographed attending the “Together at Christmas” Carol Service at Westminster Abbey.

The Prince and Princess of Wales attended the official event with Prince George – looking more like his father every day – and Princess Charlotte hand-in-hand. For the festive occasion the couple aptly wore coordinating burgundy looks. Charlotte and Middleton both wore deep red coat dresses while Prince William wore a matching tie and navy coat to complement Prince George.

The family appearance – sans Prince Louis – arrives after the royals shared their annual family Christmas card. The portrait was photographed by Matt Porteous and shows the family in blue and denim ensembles walking along a grassy laneway.

The event also coincided with the release of part two of Harry & Meghanthe scathing docuseries from Prince Harry and Meghan Markle which details the events leading up to their shock departure from the UK.

The Sunday Times have reported that both couples have dispatched gift for the children this Christmas however no gifts will be exchanged between the adults.
