The woman everyone’s been talking about has finally touched down at Venice Film Festival. Florence Pugh, the lead in Olivia Wilde’s new highly-anticipated and much gossiped about thriller Don’t Worry, Darling, flew into Italy ahead of the film’s premiere tonight, amid a slew of headlines about a feud between herself and her director.

Continuing to do her least to dispel the drama – lest we forget this is the woman who takes no prisoners on Instagram when it comes to everything from fake boyfriend rumours to red carpet free the nipple moments – Pugh ditched the movie’s photo call earlier in the day, leaving her co-stars Harry Styles, Chris Pine and Gemma Chan, alongside Wilde, to field questions about “clearing the air” and Shia LaBeouf

Pugh instead flew into Italy late and landed wearing a statement purple Valentino three-piece, bringing her grandma with her as her plus one and posting to Instagram, simply, “’Im here.

With Granzo Pat.” Icons only.

After Pugh’s most recent Valentino moment called for the aforementioned free the nipple takedown of misogynistic men online, the actress, once again, opted for the Italian fashion house, but this time ditched her signature fuchsia for equally as eye-catching violet.

Arriving at the festival by boat wearing a crop top, shorts and oversized shirt from the label’s Resort 2023 collection, Pugh accessoried with shoes in the same shade and a creamy lilac Valentino Garavani Locò bag, with chunky “V” logo hardware in gold.

Wearing her short blonde hair styled in a swept-over side part, Pugh wore black eyewear, gold earrings and a matching gold necklace. Another dress that would have fit the colour scheme?

Ahead of the event, Pugh’s publicist announced she would be attending the Don’t Worry, Darling premiere but wouldn’t be doing any press before or after the screening. She flew in after the photo call on Monday afternoon, which, according to PEOPLE, was pre-planned due to her filming schedule on Dune two.

Of course, despite Wilde doing her best to keep a smile on her face and the world’s attention firmly on the film at hand, there’s no denying when it comes to the red carpet later this evening, all eyes are going to be on Wilde, Pugh and Styles. Body language experts at the ready!
