Femme Fest in Dubai is an incredible must-see music celebration between 25-27th March hosted in honour of women across the region. The festival will be taking place in the One Life cafe in Design District, Dubai’s hotspot hub for fashion, culture and everything creative. This unique event will feature live music performances from homegrown musical artists, along with workshops and engaging panel discussions for you to get involved with. Below, get to know some of the regional talents participating in the festival.
Varsha Vinn
Rising pop star Varsha Vinn from India will be gracing the One Vibe cafe with her unique style of music on the 26th of March at Femme Fest. Varsha has released music with Universal Music, Sony, Magic Records, ARWV music as well as producing songs of her own and is certainly no stranger to making grand appearances in the best venues across the UAE.
BIIRD Person
Lujain Albishi known as Biirdperson, is a young gifted producer and filmmaker from Saudi Arabia who has always held music dearly in her heart from a very young age. She will be performing on the second day of the festival and we cannot wait to see the talent she brings to Femme Fest considering she blew the crowd away recently at MDLBeast Festival in Saudi Arabia.
Megatronic
Another young talent performing on the second day of the festival is Dubai based music talent Megatronic. Originally from London U.K., she is everything that Femme Fest stands for as she is known for using her music to express and celebrates the diversity of females within the Middle East.
Parvane Barrett
French Iranian DJ and digital creator Parvane Barett is slowly growing a mighty following on Instagram with her love for fashion and music. She will perform on the very first day of the festival, leaving some very big footsteps to fill for the acts in the following days. She is definitely a young talent who is deemed to do great things in her future career.
Nooriyah
Nooriyah is a DJ, writer & filmmaker with Saudi Arabian roots currently based in London, and creates modern music with the finest Middle Eastern and North African sounds. As well as rising to fame in the music industry, Nooriyah is dedicated to giving back and supporting other women. She has done this by teaching unrepresented female musicians and helped them gain direction in the music industry.
Vzline
Turkish French DJ Vzline who is based in Dubai as well as London creates music with a unique blend of garage, grime, hip hop, and jazz and says she is “strongly influenced by the UK’s subcultures and creative scenes.” She will be performing at the Femme Fest on 26th March.
