In recent months, Bella Hadid has been undergoing a transformation in front of our very eyes.
The model has been a brunette almost exclusively throughout her career — something that was likely decided on when she first got into the industry to differentiate herself from her honey-blonde big sister, Gigi Hadid. However, early last month the 26-year-old posted photos showing a change in look: caramel blonde hair.
Hadid, who dyed her eyebrows the same shade, appeared to have an even lighter colour by January when she posted an illegal amount of tropical beach shots from her New Year’s spent at Palm Heights hotel in the Cayman Islands.
Now, in a new Instagram post, we’ve had our first look at a peroxide blonde Bella, courtesy of celebrity hairstylist Sam McKnight. In a video showing herself with her hair styled in tight curls, Hadid wears a white vest as she sprays hairspray on her Marilyn Monroe-esque do.
Naturally, the internet, which is high-key obsessed with Hadid and everything she does (especially the Gen Z fans over on TikTok) has lost it with comments like, “I just fell to my knees at Walmart,” and, “Her name….her name is Marilyn Hadid,” filling up her post.
