It seems the only thing better than a costume party is a themed dinner in Paris – even better when that dinner is hosted by Balenciaga and features the likes of Bella Hadid, Naomi Campbell, Dua Lipa, Kim Kardashian, and Emily Ratajkowski on the guest list.
Following the Balenciaga Autumn/Winter 2022-23 Haute Couture show overnight, the fashion house hosted a dinner at Paris’ Hôtel de la Marine. The hotel was reopened last year, after being restored for the first time in 200 years.
Nicole Kidman, along with Hadid, Lipa, Kardashian, and Campbell, surprised fans and fashion week attendees by walking the Balenciaga runway, presenting Demna’s latest 59-look collection. After finishing the show, they all attended the dinner, along with other celebrity guests including Euphoria‘s Alexa Demie, who is swiftly becoming a regular at Balenciaga shows around the world.
Each celebrity look, while following the same style theme of garbage bag black often paired with over-sized sunglasses, was a statement in itself. But it was Lipa’s extended ponytail and pointed black eyeliner that deserved a moment all of its own.
Also remaining wholly committed to her hair extensions was Kardashian, who has been seen twinning with daughter North West throughout Paris Fashion Week.
