While Adele continues to tease us with the hope of new music “very soon”, she’s still giving fans a reason for hysterics. At the weekend the “Hello” singer published a gallery of breathtaking photos from a wedding she attended wearing Schiaparelli. As is custom for romantic celebrity debuts on social media, her rumoured boyfriend Rich Paul made a quiet appearance in the very last photo.
She simply captioned the post with a red heart emoji. The couple were attending Lakers player Anthony Davis’ wedding to Marlen P on Saturday, September 18.
Rich Paul entered the scene some time around July when the pair were spotted at the NBA Finals for Game 5 (the Phoenix Suns versus the Milwaukee Bucks) in Arizona. It wasn’t clear they were dating until a source for E! News confirmed our suspicions. Paul is the agent to NBA star LeBron James.
ESPN sports journalist Brian Windhorst also spoke about the relationship to podcast, The Lowe Post.
“Meanwhile, Rich Paul, [LeBron’s] agent, brings his girlfriend to the game to sit next to LeBron. His girlfriend is Adele,” Windhorst said. “Rich Paul is at the game with Adele. Lebron is watching the game with Adele. This is the first time that they’ve come out in public together so this will be all over the tabloids, especially in England tomorrow. Trust me.”
The couple were also seen attending Robert Kraft’s birthday together later that month.
Adele split from her former husband Simon Konecki in April 2019. The pair share an eight-year-old son, Angelo. Since the breakup, the singer has reportedly “spent months in the studio recording her new album,” and has added that “she is excited for the world to hear it.”
