Desde Vestiaire Collective, hemos decidido dar este paso porque no queremos ser c\u00f3mplices de una industria\u00a0<\/em><br aria-hidden=\"true\" \/><em>que tiene un impacto social y ambiental enormemente negativo. El sistema actual fomenta la sobreproducci\u00f3n y el consumo masivo de art\u00edculos de baja calidad generando una alta cantidad de residuos\u201d.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Esta acci\u00f3n es el \u00faltimo paso en la misi\u00f3n de Vestiaire Collective de transformar la industria de la moda. Como parte de un plan de 3 a\u00f1os, la empresa, junto a una agencia externa, dise\u00f1ar\u00e1 una lista de criterios s\u00f3lidos contra la \u201cmoda r\u00e1pida\u201d que incluir\u00e1 la baja calidad de los art\u00edculos, las condiciones de trabajo y la huella de carbono. Todas las marcas que se ajusten a estos criterios ser\u00e1n eliminadas de la plataforma.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Pr\u00f3ximos pasos<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Adem\u00e1s de este anuncio, Vestiaire Collective est\u00e1 llevando a cabo acciones contra los residuos generados por la moda creando conciencia e impulsando el cambio.<\/p>\n<p>En octubre de 2022 The Or Foundation recibi\u00f3 y acompa\u00f1\u00f3 a parte del equipo de Vestiaire Collective a explorar la mayor econom\u00eda del reciclaje y el upcycling del mundo en Kantamanto, Ghana, donde casi 15 millones de prendas circulan en su mercado cada semana. El 40% de los art\u00edculos recibidos no se encuentran en buenas condiciones por lo que son desechados, convirti\u00e9ndose directamente en residuos que acaban en el vertedero. Esto provoca la devastaci\u00f3n del medio ambiente y hunde a los minoristas de segunda mano en las deudas. Este viaje destac\u00f3 la importancia de tomar medidas inmediatas y radicales en torno a la moda r\u00e1pida.<\/p>\n<p>Para garantizar que este veto no supone que la responsabilidad de gestionar los desperdicios recaiga en Kantamanto, Vestiaire Collective se compromete a encontrar y fomentar soluciones pr\u00e1cticas para los miembros que actualmente tienen art\u00edculos de moda r\u00e1pida como
