El cuarteto conformado por <\/span><b>Claude Montana<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (ahora el dise\u00f1ador recluso), <\/span><b>Jean Paul Gaultier<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (el femme fatal de la moda), <\/span><b>Azzedine Ala\u00efa<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (quien cre\u00f3 la segunda piel de la mujer) y <\/span><b>Thierry Mugle<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><strong>r<\/strong> (ahora el fisicoculturista), posicionaron a Par\u00eds en el ojo del hurac\u00e1n medi\u00e1tico. Y como empresario, era de los pocos dise\u00f1adores que controlaban su manufactura, catapultando el <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">ready-to-wear<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> a su m\u00e1ximo esplendor e invadiendo las tiendas departamentales de las principales ciudades de la moda.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">La est\u00e9tica de Mugler, aunque celebrada, fue el tema de m\u00faltiples cr\u00edticas. \u201cFue una especie de reivindicaci\u00f3n. Creando m\u00faltiples im\u00e1genes como discurso est\u00e9tico, el dise\u00f1ador congel\u00f3 sus esculturales creaciones yuxtaponiendo las Bellas Artes con su audaz fetichismo.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Luego de ser una de las fuerzas de la moda parisina, Thierry Mugler se retir\u00f3 de la industria como dise\u00f1ador. El \u00e9xito durante la d\u00e9cada de los noventa fue puro de su fragancia, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Angel<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.
