In just 72 hours, Zendaya went from chameleonic singer to Nicolas Ghesquiere’s most exciting new right hand woman parading along the Parisian Left Bank. We saw her front row at Emanuel Ungara and then again at Vivienne Westwood. And in between croissant breakfasts, selfies with Gigi and styling sessions in Fall 2016’s latest with Law Roach, the Something New singer certified her fashion credentials in less than the time it takes to walk the length of a runway. Just days after jet-setting in from the French capital, Zendaya gave GRAZIA her exclusive wardrobe edit.

“My stylist Law Roach and I were in Paris for the Louis Vuitton show and we got to go to a fitting at the offices which was really cool. They had a few looks out there but this was the one that I think my stylist and I both gravitated towards. It was the last thing I put on. They were like, “do you want to try it?”, so we did and we threw that red turtleneck underneath and then the shoes. It just all fit together, it was very natural. We don’t force, we don’t plan, we always just kind of go with the flow.”

“This look photographed white but it’s actually grey. We love Christian Siriano because he’s always been really great to us in the past. I love the stuff he does. But, you know, this was our kind of Paris look. When you’re in Paris, you want to feel chic and classic and this is a very classic look. I think any woman could wear a turtleneck and wide leg trouser and look amazing.”

“These boots are Fausto Puglisi. They have all of those studs and details and fun stuff on them. I went to the Met Ball with Fausto, I’m obsessed with him. These boots were so insane that my stylist and I built this look off them so I put on some jeans, a t-shirt and a jacket and made the boots the main thing. Also, when I’m in Paris, I just have an urge to shop. Everything just feels more special for some reason when you say, ‘I bought so-and-so in Paris!’ It just adds a sexiness to it. There were a few things I’d been planning to buy for a while. And this Chanel purse was one of them.”

“I went to the Golden Globes this year with Harvey Weinstein. And obviously [his wife] designer Georgina Chapman of Marchesa is the best and one of the sweetest, coolest designers out there. She bought over beautiful options for me to wear but this was just the one. We put it on and everybody in the room was like, “yes, this is it,”. It was a princess moment.”

“What’s the favourite part of my look? The obvious answer is my hair. And I really mean that, I loved my hair. I wanted to keep it longer but unfortunately I had to do my show [Disney’s Shake It Up], so I had to take it out but I was just obsessed with it.”
