It would be near impossible to forget Céline Dion’s haute foray at Couture Fashion Week this year. Storming the streets of Paris in everything from Schiaparelli couture to Paris Hilton tees, every moment was a moment of fashion brilliance, both in terms of couture rigour and playful irony. But perhaps the most enduring image of Céline Dion’s Fashion Week was a photo of her walking two diamond-clad Weimaraners in a Richard Quinn bubble gown. Iconic, to say the the least.

And now, thanks to Matches Fashion, that stellar strapless frock is available – or an iteration of. Like fantastical fashion upholstery, a shorter, less voluminous and much more wearable version of Quinn’s floral-printed satin masterpiece has just landed on the luxury e-tailer. Meaning? You could be a little more like Céline at your next soirée.

From his Autumn Winter 19 collection, the heavyweight satin frock features an empire bodice with larger-than-life bow which unlike Céline’s bubble variety, falls into a clean A-line skirt which sits just above the knee. Still packed with plenty of drama (and the identical painterly floral print), the abbreviated version is wearable couture for the taking. Or, if you’re seeking that Céline-certified bubbling hem, Quinn’s Bubble-hem floral-sequinned dress features the same theatrical hemline in a different, sequin-drenched print. Same same but different, an equally Dion-worthy option.
