There was no sign of Sydney’s belligerent weather at Camilla and Marc, in fact, it was the opposite – all sartorial happenings played out on very dry land. Moon-like, in fact. The spacey setting – under the creative direction of celebrated publishing expat Laura Brown – was just the beginning however, as Camilla Freeman-Topper and Marc Freeman celebrated 15 years in fashion. A staggering feat considering fashion years are akin to dog years plus some – and what a show it was. A stellar collection – if not the best to date – made all the more cooler with thanks to the hair.

This irreverent girl – in pastel power suits and thigh high boots – stormed space with unfussy, yet impossibly shiny hair. Tucked behind ears and in turtlenecks (sparking the question – is the hair tuck back?), the hair gleamed from the dusty earth; full of polish and pizzazz. But, it remained slightly piecey and imprecise; full of irregular tuffs and tucks and texture aplenty.

To achieve this look, blast hair straight with the Dyson Supersonic hair dyer, using the Smoothing Nozzle, which guards against extreme heat damage to protect natural shine. Then add a gentle spritz of sea salt spray through the mid-lengths and finish off with a mist of shine spray to enhance the hair’s gloss.

It was the hair the avid street-stylers wished they had as they descended upon the Royal Hall of Industries. Not this year, though – the cool girl hair was inside, lost in Camilla and Marc’s space.
