Salvatore Ferragamo’s namesake founder and designer once said, “There is no limit to beauty, no saturation point in design, no end to the material.” That famous quote is now highlighted on the House’s social media accounts and perhaps provides the perfect prelude to its forthcoming runway.
Live from Milan Fashion Week – one of the first full scale, in-person events the city has seen since the pandemic – Spring/Summer 2022 promises to “reconnect with creativity”. When the act of fashion is inherently creative, what does that look like for a luxury giant? Or perhaps, it could be a call to arms, after the pandemic, to dress fun and with flair once again. The week’s street style is a first taste of what that looks like.
