There may not be another official Spice Girls reunion tour on the cards just yet, but in celebration of Pride month, Victoria Beckham tapped her former bandmates to create a limited-edition tee shirt for her eponymous fashion label.

The designer, also known as Posh Spice, used lyrics from the British pop band’s iconic debut single ‘Wannabe’, which was released 25 years ago, adding rainbow colours in support of the LGBTQI+ community.

Reading, ‘Proud and wannabe your lover,’ the white tee was released in partnership with Albert Kennedy Trust, marking the third year VB has partnered with the charity. 100 per cent of the profits made from sales will go to supporting its work to combat LGBTQ+ youth homelessness in the UK.

“Pride to me is a celebration of being completely yourself and this year’s T-shirt is a reminder of that,” explained Beckham in a statement. “The Spice Girls really championed accepting yourself and others, being kind, having fun and just living your best life.”

“The LGBTQ+ community is so close to my heart and I’m so proud to be supporting Pride 2021 with AKT (Albert Kennedy Trust) again this year.”

As well as the ‘Wannabe’ T-shirt, Beckham released a matching leather pouch emblazoned with ‘Proud and Wannabe Your Lover’.

Last year’s Victoria Beckham X Pride tee saw the designer borrow the name of George Michael’s 1990 album, ‘Listen Without Prejudice’, to illustrate her deep connection to the LGBTQIA+ community and its core principles of acceptance. To support the cause, the Beckham family wore their mum’s Pride merch on Instagram.

So naturally, Beckham tapped Geri Halliwell (Ginger Spice), Mel B (Scary Spice), Mel C (Sporty Spice) and Emma Bunton (Baby Spice) for this year’s round. The ultimate break the internet reunion:

Viva forever!
