Since celebrating their firstborn son, Brooklyn’s, wedding to Nicola Peltz in Miami last week, the Beckham family have made no rush to get back to the United Kingdom. Instead, the entire family sans the newlyweds have shacked up at their penthouse in the city, merging the trip from wedding extravaganza to a birthday one for Victoria’s 48th.
To mark the occasion, Victoria took her family, including her husband David Beckham, children Harper, Romeo and Cruz, as well as Romeo’s girlfriend Mia Regan (the very stylish Mimi Moocher on social media) and her parents, to Sushi Fly Chicken, in Miami, where they were joined by friends.
Sharing images to Instagram, Victoria showed the private dining area decorated with balloons all over the walls, simultaneously debuting her birthday outfit: a chic white suit similar to the one her friend Meghan Markle recently wore at the Invictus Games in the Netherlands.
According to Hello, the group enjoyed a personalised menu that included edamame, Hamachi and baked crab, as well as fly chicken, grilled branzino and lobster kamikaze. Following dinner, a seven-tier birthday cake that featured family pictures of the former Spice Girl was delivered to the table.
Despite staying just two hours away from the Beckham’s Miami house, Brooklyn and Nicola, who have both changed their names to Peltz Beckham, didn’t make it to the celebration – perhaps they’re secretly away on a honeymoon?! – but they did ensure to mark the day by each sharing photos to social media.
Victoria’s new daughter-in-law shared an image to her Instagram stories of herself and her mum alongside Victoria, writing, “Happy birthday @victoriabeckham,” while Brooklyn shared a picture that showed the mother-of-four dancing alongside her mother Jackie Adams and Nicola taken at his 21st birthday party a few years ago. “Happy birthday mum @victoriabeckham. I love you,” he wrote.
Meanwhile, never one to pass up an opportunity to share some PDA, David posted a photo of himself kissing his wife on the beach with the caption, “Happy Birthday to the most amazing wife , mummy & Business woman ❤️ Have the most amazing day because you deserve to x We all love you so much ❤️.”
