Leave it to Pierpaolo Piccioli to present Valentino’s Haute Couture Fall/Winter 2023 collection in a place of utter opulence. Guests will be asked to travel 50 kilometres from the centre of Paris to the storied Château de Chantilly, a treasured property which houses Royal portraiture and jewels from the Renaissance period. (It is the second largest collection of antique paintings in France, after the Louvre Museum.)
For the rest of the world, you can enter the ornate hallways of the 19th Century château, and thus explore Valentino‘s incredible new couture creations, via the portal above at 5pm on July 5 2023 Paris time. For those joining from Australia, the livestream will begin at 4am July 6, and will be available to watch hereafter. We didn’t think anything or anyone could one-up Piccioli’s staging last year’s Haute Couture Fall/Winter collection at the Spanish Steps in Rome. But how could we be so naive? Of course he’s filled with more surprises.
