One downside about having a reality TV show that follows your every move is having to rewatch and relive traumatic and painful moments months later – as they’re broadcast to the entire world. This has been something Khloe Kardashian has had to experience multiple times when it comes to her ex-partner Tristan Thompson and his infidelity. The latest of which played out on the season finale of The Kardashians last week, depicting the moment last year when Kardashian found out the father of her daughter, True, and her then-boyfriend, had fathered a child to another woman during their relationship.
Following the episode airing, a renewed hatred of Thompson kicked off online, especially given the NBA star decided to feature in one of Drake’s new music videos about cheating – as The Cut put it, “Who told Tristan Thompson this was a good idea?”.
Now, Thompson and Kardashian have been photographed out together for the first time since news broke of Thompson’s latest escapades last December. On June 18, a day before Father’s Day, the pair were spotted out to lunch in Calabasas with their four-year-old daughter, as well as Kris Jenner, Rob Kardashian’s daughter Dream Kardashian, 5, and Kim Kardashian’s youngest kids Chicago West, 4, and Psalm West, 3.
Furthermore, in one of the images posted on the Daily Mail, Thompson is seen with his arm around Kardashian’s shoulders as they enter a car. Um, sorry, no.
Kardashian later shared photos of herself at the lunch with True and Dream (avoiding any mention of Thompson’s attendance). She wrote the girls “had their first dance recital” that day “and they were perfection!!!!”
Following the airing of the finale of The Kardashians last week, the mother-of-one wrote on social media, “Life is full of lessons, teachable moments. We should handle them with grace/love. Even if we are hurt by them. Take ur moment, cry/scream but remain composed & remember that Love heals & teaches more than anger or hate ever will. We all deserve forgiveness and most of all… LOVE.”
This week, Kardashian also had to shut down a rumour that claimed she was dating another NBA player following her split from Thompson. She replied on Instagram writing, “Definitely NOT True !!!” and that she was “not seeing a soul,” adding, “I am happy focusing on my daughter and myself for a while.” At least we know that arm around the shoulders was platonic. But still, no touching, Thompson.
