Timothée Chalamet Went Backless On The Venice Red Carpet
A moment for this halterneck, please
The moment we’ve all been waiting for has finally arrived: Timothée Chalamet has made his way to the Venice International Film Festival red carpet. And, he’s gone backless.
Attending the premiere of Bones And All in Italy overnight, Chalamet—like Tessa Thompson just a day earlier—went with an all-red colour palette. To the hotly anticipated screening, the actor wore Haider Ackermann, a designer he has a close relationship with. Just last year, Chalamet collaborated with the designer on a hoodie, which raised money for Afghan women’s rights.
Chalamet has also worn Haider Ackermann on several other red carpets in the past, including to the premiere of Dune at the Venice Film Festival in 2019. This year, the actor’s Haider Ackermann look consisted of red trousers, a backless red shirt, and black boots.
Chalamet walked the red carpet with Bones And All co-star Taylor Russell, who wore Balenciaga couture. The film tells the story of a budding romance with a cannibal twist, and will be screening in Australia from November 24, 2022.
