News broke overnight 22-year-old scandal-inducing musician Justin Bieber has tattooed his face. Currently on his Purpose World Tour, Bieber’s tattoo artist, Jonathan Valena of West 4 Tattoo in New York City, told E! News the intricacies of the facial ink. “I did tattoo a small cross near the corner of Justin’s eye,” he said. “It was a representation of his faith in Jesus and his journey with finding purpose in God.”

Bieber took to Instagram to show off his tattoo, his caption reading: “Resting up for the show in Philly it’s gonna be a good one mark my words”. We know from this interview with Ellen Degeneres that the popstar wrote his song Mark My Words for ex-girlfriend – and serial Instagram liker of all things JB – Selena Gomez. Ironically too, just on Friday night, Gomez debuted a new song Feel Me on her Revival Tour in Las Vegas.
After saying she wouldn’t perform her Bieber-inspired track The Heart Wants What It Wants on tour, it would appear she’s replaced it with the former. The telling lyrics include: “No one loves you like I love you/ I never cheated, never lied/ I never put no one above you/ I gave you space and time/ And now you’re telling me you miss me/ And I’m still on your mind/ We were one in a million/ Our love is hard to find”.
But it gets deeper. The fact the title of her song is called Feel Me could be in reference or response to this Instagram post from Bieber, which he captioned, “Feels” in March.
Is there an unfinished love there? Or is it a case of an eye for a (tattooed) eye?
