As the cinematic universe of the Star Wars franchise expands, so too has the world of Pandora. In celebration of a saga that has captured the minds and imagination of viewers around the globe, the jewellery giant has ushered in a 12-piece collection that evokes the characters and symbols of the Star Wars galaxy.
“We wanted to tap into the futuristic yet vintage aesthetic of Star Wars that is well known from the original trilogy all the way to the new Disney+ series, The Mandalorian,” say Francesco Terzo and A. Filippo Ficarelli, Pandora’s VP Creative Directors. “We worked hard to transform the pieces of Star Wars into jewellery using intricate design detailing and expert craftsmanship techniques.”
In a bid to tread lightly, the newly-released line is sustainably made from 71 percent recycled metals and comprises of 10 charms, a bracelet and an additional limited-edition collector’s charm. Each piece is carefully conceptualised, expertly designed and hand-finished offering endless styling options with existing charms and accessories.
“Inspired by the Star Wars galaxy, this collection includes a variety of options for fans around the world to customize their looks,” said Paul Southern, Senior Vice President, Licensing and Franchise, Lucasfilm. “The collection succeeds in capturing the symbols and beloved characters of Star Wars and reimagining them in jewellery form.”
The new collection will be available in-store and online at Pandora starting October 1.
