The end of this wretched year is upon us. And oh, what a year it was. As Australia gears up for a rise in Omicron cases and a wet summer courtesy of La Niña, we really can’t recommend a more apt time to stream season two of Emily In Paris (seriously, how did Cami even work out Emily and Gabriel’s love affair via a fry pan?) and do a little bit of retail shopping.

At GRAZIA, we’re super fortunate to get to trial new products and ranges before they hit the market, so a few of us have rounded up the best finds of the month; things that might inspire a little joy as we ring in the New Year.

Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas break. Please Stay safe.

This short sleeve, button-down shirt by homegrown brand WORN is made by hand. R.M. williams re.made POP UP store will open on december 26 at the QVB in Sydney.

“This is more of an important announcement than a product review. R.M. Williams have decided to convert their QVB flagship store in Sydney into a Re.Made Pop Up store, launching on December 26. Having repaired 100 pairs of boots from a ‘Trade In Your Boots’ campaign recently, 80 limited edition, pre-owned, re-soled pairs of R.M.’s will be up for sale, some with over 20 years worth of wear and stories in their soles. Like a fine wine, these babies only get better with age, so if you’re in Sydney, drop in!” – Jessica Bailey, Editorial Director

GANNI Crochet Heart Key Ring, $35. SHOP NOW

“From fun and frivolous sun dresses to Peter pan-collared blouses, GANNI is cherished by so many fashionistas. Christian Louboutin Beauty VELVET MATTE ROUGE LOUBOUTIN LIPSTICK, $155

“Red. The colour is so famous in the fashion space (Gabrielle Chanel famously featured one red garment in each of her runway collections, usually the fifth look) but no more than Christian Louboutin’s soles. This season, the French house has released an all-new line of Rouge Louboutin Lip Colours – and the star is definitely the Velvet Matte Lipstick in shade Rouge Louboutin. I have always been a little wary of matte lipsticks but the formula is actually intensely rich, hydrating and smooth. One stroke will give you full coverage. And that case… wow!” – Jessica Bailey, Editorial Director

Nico Ribbed Bike Shorts, $84. SHOP NOW

“Nico Underwear has quietly forged a reputation for the most comfortable and chic underwear. Its success in eco-friendly, plant-dyed nickers has seen the company expand into loungewear for basic styles that can be worn at home or out to weekend brunch. We’re loving these rust bike shorts for a cute WFH fit.” – Rebekah Clark, Features Writer

Apple Homepod Mini, $149. SHOP NOW

“I cannot recommend these speakers to my friends and family enough. In fact, I bought two for my brother at the end of my product showing with Apple. The Apple Homepod Mini has just hit the market and not only has incredible sound (who doesn’t love kicking on with friends post-dinner with music?), it acts as a smart home anchor letting you control accessories (lights, TV, timer) with just your voice. I have two – one in the kitchen and one in the living room – meaning Adele can hit stadium-level surround sound in my home, just by me asking Siri to do it. The intelligent assistant means I can also check my emails, the weather, the news headlines or make a call while I’m making my coffee. But the best part? Two or more speakers can be used as an intercom system between rooms. No more, “I SAID… DINNER’S READY!'” – Jessica Bailey, Editorial Director

St Agni Ava Dress, $369. SHOP NOW

“For well-made basics that are kind to the planet, St Agni is amazing. Exclusive to in-store flagships and online only, the brand has ushered in a new LBD (long black dress) for the warmer season. With its delicate, asymmetrical shoestring straps, square neck and splits, this redefines the ‘90s style for a timeless wardrobe staple.” – Rebekah Clark, Features Writer

Balmain X Chivas XV blended scotch whiskey, SHOP NOW

“People are often surprised when I tell them that I love coming home to a late-night scotch on the rocks after a night out. My late father loved a blended scotch whiskey, and it’s my little cheers to him, wherever he may be. This limited-edition bottle of Chivas Regal blended scotch whiskey was designed in partnership with Balmain Creative Director Olivier Rousteing. It’s aged for 15 years and, served over ice or neat, you really taste the rich flavours of the cinnamon and butterscotch. There will be a second drop of 120 bottles on January 3rd 2022. Nab one here.” – Jessica Bailey, Editorial Director

The result has seen a capsule of six party-worthy styles from a sky-high pump to chunky flatforms. They’re the perfect footwear for party season with a kind price tag too. Beware, these heels are not for the faint-hearted. Read: very high.” – Rebekah Clark, Features Writer

Mejuri Bold Pearl Necklace, $380. SHOP NOW

Kylie Minogue sparkling Prosecco Rosé, $25. SHOP NOW

“Confession time: The first concert I ever went to was a Kylie Minogue concert. It was the gold-shorts, ‘Spinning Around’ era and I, 13 years old at the time, loved her. Now back in Australia, our most prized export has released a new sparkling Prosecco, and honestly, it’s really good! With notes of strawberries, raspberries and blossom, it’s quite crisp and citrusy on the palate. Reading up on the bottle, I learned it comes from a family-run estate in the heart of Veneto in Italy, a spot known for producing some of the best Prosecco’s in the world. I don’t need to tell you I served it super chilled in a beautiful glass, with ‘On A Night Like This’ on blast.” – Jessica Bailey, Editorial Director

Recreation Beauty At Night We Dance EDP, $109. SHOP NOW

“Amid my discovery for a new fragrance, Recreation Beauty came across my desk. It is dubbed as a 100 percent clean perfume and includes no harmful chemicals and is hypoallergenic. Our favourite scent is the “At Night We Dance” iterations for a spicy scent with musky undertones. Perfect for a summer afternoon.” – Rebekah Clark, Features Writer
