It’s on all of us to call out sexism when we see it – that includes Taylor Swift.

The Bad Blood singer stopped an interviewer from German radio station RTL in their tracks this week when the reporter asked a rather presumptive question.

Taylor was asked whether, since she turns 30 this year, she has plans to settle down and have children with boyfriend Joe Alwyn. Taking issue with the fact women are asked this question all the time, but men rarely are, Swift replied:

“I really do not think men are asked that question when they turn 30. So I’m not going to answer that question now.”

Taylor is right. It’s hard to imagine a male 29-year-old artist being asked that question. Women deserve to be asked about their craft, not baby plans, thanks.
